UX design is a process…
UX design can take on various forms, including circular, linear, or even a blend of both approaches. My design process is firmly grounded in comprehensive user research, continuous development, and effective teamwork. It begins with a thorough understanding of user needs through meticulous research, followed by the generation of innovative concepts, the creation of detailed wireframes, and the construction of interactive prototypes, all culminating in rigorous usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
Following the process has many benefits, including:
collaboration with cross functional teams which ensures alignment with business objectives and user centric solutions.
High-fidelity visualisation.
Clear project structure and reduce the cost of making changes.
My experience has taught me that great design is a collective effort, not created in a moment of inspiration or a bubble. It is an iterative process requiring collaboration between stakeholders and end users. Do not be easily attached to the initial design solution and forget to research and test; it rarely works. First solutions are not often the right solution because it is hard to know the problems you are attempting to solve in the early stages.
